Marina Naseem joined Brian J. McManus & Associates, Ltd. immediately after graduating from Barry University School of Law and taking the Illinois State Bar Exam in 2024. She is committed to advocating for her clients and ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.
Ms. Naseem graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020 with a double major in Communication and Spanish. During her time at Barry University School of Law, she was an active member of the Women in Law Association, Criminal Law Society, and Phi Alpha Delta fraternity. Her favorite classes were Trial Advocacy, where she developed her passion for courtroom strategy and litigation and Law and Social Injustice, a course that deepened her understanding of systemic inequities in the legal system and reinforced her commitment to meaningful advocacy.
As the oldest of three siblings, Ms. Naseem has embraced responsibility and a strong work ethic
from a young age. She has been working since the age of 15, consistently balancing academics,
extracurricular activities, and employment to achieve her goals. This dedication has shaped her
professional approach and drive for success in the legal field.
During law school, Ms. Naseem gained diverse legal experience through interning in criminal
defense, working in personal injury, and clerking in insurance defense. These roles provided her
with a solid foundation for handling complex legal matters and strengthened her ability to
effectively represent her clients.
Ms. Naseem is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association,
South Asian Bar Association of Chicago, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, which allow
her to remain engaged with the legal community.
In her free time, Ms. Naseem enjoys cooking new recipes, traveling to different countries, and
exploring new cultures. With her dedication, empathy, and client-focused approach, she strives to
deliver exceptional advocacy and support throughout every stage of the legal process.
