Brian McManus, Jr. is a partner at Brian J. McManus and Associates, Ltd. and has been with the firm since 1995. Mr. McManus, Jr. is a plaintiff’s lawyer who specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers’ compensation law. He has developed a long standing relationship with United Airlines flight attendants who have sustained work-related injuries. He has successfully tried and settled hundreds of cases filed before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission.
In addition, Mr. McManus, Jr., settled a wrongful death claim in McHenry County, Illinois for over $1.2 million dollars, an impressive settlement in that jurisdiction. Mr. McManus, Jr.’s career highlights also include the case of Jerry Grant v. Clennon Electric and Anchor Electric, which he tried before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and obtained one of the largest arbitration awards in the State of Illinois. Mr. McManus, Jr. is best known for his skill in client contact and advanced trial strategy.
Brian obtained his law degree from John Marshall Law School, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Chicago Bar Association. He is a lifelong Chicagoan and die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs. Mr. McManus, Jr. lives in the Chicago area with his wife Dena and their four lovely children.
